CC Camp VFD News

The C.C. Camp VFD was called to a Woods & Brush Fire this afternoon to assist South Surry Station 74. The fire was on Bledsoe Trail off Highway 601 South. Station 65 responded with Brush 2 & Pumper-Tanker 2 and several personnel.

The C.C. Camp VFD was called this afternoon to direct traffic on C.C. Camp Road. Station 65 Brush 1 and several personnel responded to the scene.

The C.C. Camp VFD was diapatched to a 10-50 PI on Interstate 77 at the 85 Exit North Bound at 11:09 AM this morning. There was 2 vehicles involed in the accident. Station 65 responded with Engine 1 & Pumper-Tanker1 and several personnel. Also Station 65 had personnel standing by at both stations.

C.C. Camp VFD was called this afternoon to assist State Road VFD Station 79 at a fire alarm off Country Club Road in the State Road Community. Jot-Um-Down Station 66 was also called to assist. 790 advised for all mutual aid personnel to stand by at their stations until he advised further. After arriving on scene he cancelled all units due to an accidental fire alarm activation.

The C.C. Camp VFD was called to a 10-50 early this AM on West Mount Herman Church Road. There was one vehicle involved. Station 65 Engine 2 and Brush 2 responded to the scene.

C.C. Camp VFD Station 65 responded to a 10-50 this am caused by hazardous road conditions due to heavy snow in the area. Station 65 responded with Engine 1, Pumper-Tanker 1 and Brush 2 while other personnel stood by at both stations.

C.C. Camp VFD Station 65 was dispatched to assist Central Surry VFD Station 77 & Jot-Um-Down Station 66 on Blanco Pina Way this afternoon but cancelled enroute.

The C.C. Camp VFD was dispatched to a tree in the roadway on Highway 601 South in the Crutchfield Area just north of the Yadkin River. Station 65 Brush 2 responded to the scene with several personnel and removed the tree.

C.C. Camp VFD was dispatched to a huge tree in the roadway on Elkin Wildlife Road about a mile off of C.C. Camp Road. Station 65 Brush 1 & Brush 2 both responded to the scene with chain saws and personnel. Several 65 personnel responded to the scene while other personnel stood by at both stations. The tree was cut up and removed from the roadway.
